Theory Of Operation

When equipped, the Body Control Module (BCM) controls the configuration and activation of the Light Emitting Diode (LED) Daytime Running Lamps (DRLs). The BCM illuminates the DRLs when the ignition is on, the Park Brake is released, and the Headlamp Switch is in the OFF or AUTO position. Using the Radio or Infotainment system, the DRLs may be configured to illuminate or remain disabled, refer to the Owners Manual for additional information.
