Removal And Installation: Removal

1. Lower the door glass to the full end of travel.
2. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
3. Remove the bolt (1a) securing check arm (1b) to the body, then close the door temporarily to return arm.
4. Disconnect the wire harness connector (2).
5. Remove the bolts (3) for the hinges.
6. Lift up the door (4) and remove it.

INSTALLATION

1. Place the door (1) on the hinges.
2. Tighten the bolts (2) for the hinges to the proper specification. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
3. Connect the wire harness connector (3).
4. Pull out check arm (4a) and tighten bolt (4b) to the proper specification. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
5. Check the door alignment and adjust if necessary. Refer to DOOR, REAR, ADJUSTMENTS .
6. Connect the negative battery cable.
7. Check that the various utilities on the door are working.
