1. Adjust or replace the hood rubber bumpers if necessary.
2. With the help of an assistant holding the hood (1c), loosen the hood hinge (1b) to hood nuts and adjust the hood to specification. Refer to GAP AND FLUSH, SPECIFICATIONS .
3. Tighten the hood hinge to hood nuts to the proper specification. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
4. Adjust the hood strikers if necessary.
5. If more adjustment is necessary, remove the cowl panel cover. Refer to COVER, COWL PANEL, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
6. With the help of an assistant holding the hood, loosen the hood hinge to body bolts (1a) and adjust the hood to specification. Refer to GAP AND FLUSH, SPECIFICATIONS .
7. Tighten the hood hinge to body bolts to the proper specification. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
8. Install the cowl panel cover. Refer to COVER, COWL PANEL, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
