Removal And Installation: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the floor console. Refer to CONSOLE, FLOOR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  3. Remove the duct to floor nuts (1a).
  4. Remove the duct (2a) from the HVAC housing and remove from the vehicle.
  5. Remove the glove box. Refer to GLOVE BOX, INSTRUMENT PANEL, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  6. Working on the lower central part of the shelf covering (1a), remove the screws (1b) and remove the Bluetooth antenna (1c) from the vehicle.
