The image of the Rear View Camera (RVC) of the ParkView ® system will appear on the 6.5 inch or 8.8 inch radio display when reversing. The image is displayed with lines representing the space occupied by the vehicle that are automatically adapted to the steering wheel rotation.
The RVC communicates with the Body Control Module (BCM) via the Local Interface Network (LIN2).
The RVC, which is located on the decklid, produces a high resolution image with greater clarity and sharpness to identify any obstacles. The rear camera is located near the decklid opening buttons (or near the passive entry button if present) on the decklid handle.
The RVC cannot be adjusted or repaired. If the RVC is damaged or ineffective, it must be replaced.
