Rear QUADRIFOGLIO - Carbon Ceramic: Removal

NOTE:

When replacing the rear brake disc, connect the scan tool to the Data Link Connector (DLC), select "ABS" and start the "Brembo® information CCM service reset" procedure.

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  2. Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  3. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  4. Remove the parking brake caliper. Refer to CALIPER, PARKING BRAKE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  5. Disconnect the brake pad wear indicator electrical harness connector (1).
  6. Remove the mounting bolts (2a), remove the brake caliper (2b) without disconnect the tube and secure it appropriately aside.

  7. Remove the mounting bolts (1a) and remove the rear brake disc (1b).
