Removal And Installation: Installation
NOTE:
Installation process is similar for both sides of the vehicle
- Install a NEW
O-ring, appropriately lubricated, on the parking brake caliper body.
- Place the gear motor (1a) in its housing and tighten the NEW mounting bolts (1b) to the proper specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Connect the electrical harness connector (2) to the gear motor.
- Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
- Remove the supports and lower the vehicle.
