Removal And Installation 2.0L: Installation

NOTE:

Installation process is similar for both sides of the vehicle

  1. Place the gear motor (1b) in its housing and tighten the NEW  mounting bolts (1a) to the proper specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .

  2. Connect the electrical harness connector (1) to the brake pad wear sensor.

  3. Connect the electrical harness connector (1) to the gear motor.
  4. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
  5. Remove the supports and lower the vehicle.
