Removal And Installation: Removal
NOTE:
The pads must always be replaced on the same axle of the vehicle.
NOTE:
Connect the scan tool, go to "ABS", in the "miscellaneous functions" go to "EPB", then start the "MAINTENANCE MODE".
- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
.
- Remove the safety split pins (1).
- Remove pin (1a) and spring (1b).
- Retract the remaining pin (1a) and remove the inner pad (1b).
- Completely remove pin and outer wheel pad (1).
