Removal And Installation: Removal

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  2. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
  3. Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  4. Release the wiring from intermediate retainers and disconnect the electrical harness connector (1) for the rear wheel speed sensor.

    NOTE:

    Keep the rear wheel speed sensor away from magnetic fields.

  5. Remove the mounting bolt (1a) and remove the rear wheel speed sensor (1b) from the stub axle strut.
