Removal And Installation

REMOVAL 

  1. Remove the engine cover. Refer to COVER, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  2. Remove the bolts (1a) and the air filter cover (1b).

  3. Open the retaining clip (1) and release the degassing pipe.
  4. Remove the bolts (2a) and disconnect the right flow meter (2b) from the air cleaner cover (2c).
  5. Follow the same procedure to disconnect the left flow meter from the air cleaner cover.

  6. Lift up the cover (1a) and remove the air cleaner element (1b).

INSTALLATION 

  1. Install a NEW  cleaner element in its housing.
  2. Close the cover on the air filter and securely tighten the bolts.
  3. Using a NEW  O-ring, connect the right flow meter to the air cleaner cover and securely tighten the bolts.
  4. Follow the same procedure to connect the left flow meter to the air cleaner cover.
  5. Engage the degassing pipe and tighten the retaining clip.
  6. Install the engine cover. Refer to COVER, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
