Right Side: Installation

  1. Using a NEW  O-ring, install the right cylinder head Variable Valve Timing (VVT) solenoid in its housing (1a), exhaust side and tighten the bolt (1b) to the proper specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  2. Connect the right cylinder head VVT wire harness connector (2) for the exhaust side.
  3. Perform the same operation for installing the left cylinder head VVT solenoid, intake side.
  4. Install the HT pressurized coolant bottle. Refer to BOTTLE, PRESSURIZED COOLANT, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
