Removal And Installation

REMOVAL 

1. Remove the transmission. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
2. Position the (special tool #2024200090, Damper, Rotating Tool) tool on the vibration damper.

3. Remove the bolts (1a) and the spacer (1b).

4. 1. Remove the engine flexplate (1).

INSTALLATION 

1. Thoroughly clean the flexplate seat and the threaded holes on the engine crankshaft.
2. Install the engine flexplate in position.

3. Install the spacer (1a) in position and tighten the bolts (1b) to the proper using the (special tool #2024200090, Damper, Rotating Tool) tool on the vibration damper. Refer to FRONT ENGINE  .
4. Install the transmission. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
