Right Air Tube Between Turbocharger And Charge Air Water Cooler

REMOVAL 

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the belly pan. Refer to BELLY PAN, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION or BELLY PAN, REAR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION or BELLY PAN, REAR SUSPENSION, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION or BELLY PAN, SIDE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
3. Remove the right front tire and wheel assembly. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
4. Remove the front air dam. Refer to AIR DAM, FRONT, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATIONAIR DAM, FRONT CROSSMEMBER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

5. Open the band (1a) and disconnect the air outlet pipe from the turbocharger (1b), on the heat exchanger side.

6. Open the band (1a) and disconnect the supercharger air bypass sleeve from the solenoid valve to the right pipe (1b).

7. Remove the screws (1a) and the pipe (1b), complete with seal.

8. Disconnect the right supercharger air bypass solenoid valve wire harness connector (1).

9. Remove the air outlet pipe from the right turbocharger (1a), complete with seal (1b).

10. If necessary, undo the screws (1a) and remove the right turbocharger air by-pass solenoid valve (1b) complete with O-ring.

11. If necessary, loosen the band (1a) and disconnect the air supply sleeve between the turbocharger and right heat exchanger (1b).

INSTALLATION

1. Using a NEW  gasket (1b), position the outlet pipe from the right turbocharger (1a).

2. Connect the right supercharger air bypass solenoid wire harness connector (1).

3. Securely tighten the screws (1a) for the right outlet pipe (1b).

4. Connect the supercharger air bypass hose (1b) from the solenoid valve to the right pipe (1a) in position and tighten the band (1b).

5. Refit the turbocharger air outlet pipe (1a) in position on the heat exchanger side and tighten the band (1b).
6. Install the front air dam. Refer to AIR DAM, FRONT, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATIONAIR DAM, FRONT CROSSMEMBER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
7. Install the right front tire and wheel assembly. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
8. Install the belly pan. Refer to BELLY PAN, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION or BELLY PAN, REAR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION or BELLY PAN, REAR SUSPENSION, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION or BELLY PAN, SIDE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
9. Connect the negative battery cable.
