REMOVAL

Remove the left side turbocharger/exhaust manifold heat shield. Refer to TURBOCHARGER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

Loosen the clamp (1a) and disconnect the vacuum hose (1b) from the waste-gate actuator (1c).

Remove the bolts (1a), (1b), the forked flange (1c) and disconnect the turbocharger water supply and return pipes (1d), complete with O-rings.

Remove the bolts (1a) and disconnect the engine oil return pipe from the turbocharger (1b), with gaskets (1c).

Remove the bolt (1a) and disconnect the engine oil supply pipe to the turbocharger (1b), complete with O-ring.

Remove the nuts (1a) and the turbocharger and left exhaust manifold assembly (1b).
Remove the gasket.

INSTALLATION

Using a NEW gasket, install the turbocharger and left exhaust manifold assembly (1a), and tighten the NEW nuts (1b) to the proper specification. Refer to TURBOCHARGER .

Using a NEW O-ring, install the engine oil supply pipe to the turbocharger (1a) and tighten the bolts (1b), to the proper specification. Refer to TURBOCHARGER .

Using a NEW gasket (1b), install the engine oil return pipe to the turbocharger (1a) and tighten the bolts (1c), to the proper specification. Refer to TURBOCHARGER .

Using a NEW O-ring, install the turbocharger water supply and return pipes (1a), position the forked flange (1b) and tighten the bolt (1c) to the proper specification. Refer to TURBOCHARGER .
Install the turbocharger water supply pipe bracket bolt (2) and securely tighten.
Connect the waste-gate actuator vacuum flexible hose and tighten the clamp.
Install the left side turbocharger/exhaust manifold heat shield. Refer to TURBOCHARGER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
