Left Side Turbocharger Heat Shield

REMOVAL 

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the engine and transmission. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  3. Remove the bolt (1a) securing the left side front turbocharger/exhaust manifold heat shield (1b).

  4. Remove the bolts (1a) and the left side turbocharger/exhaust manifold heat shield (1b).

INSTALLATION 

  1. Install the left side turbocharger/exhaust manifold heat shield and securely tighten the bolts.
  2. Install the engine and transmission. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  3. Connect the negative battery cable.
