Removal And Installation: Removal

1. Remove the front fascia. Refer to FASCIA, FRONT, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
2. Remove the engine belly pan. Refer to BELLY PAN, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION  or BELLY PAN, REAR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION  or BELLY PAN, REAR SUSPENSION, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION  or BELLY PAN, SIDE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
3. Remove the nuts (1a) from the air dam position actuators (1b).

4. Remove the bolts (1a) attaching the crossmember (1b) to the body.
5. Remove the crossmember (1b) complete with the air dam (2a).

6. If necessary, remove the top bolts (1a) and the lower bolts (1b), then separate the crossmember (1c) from air dam (1d).

INSTALLATION

1. If separated, position the crossmember (1a) on the air dam (1b), then install the lower bolts (1c) and the upper bolts (1d).

2. Position the crossmember (1a) complete with the air dam (1b).
3. Tighten the bolts (2a) securing the crossmember (1a) to the body to the proper specification. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .

4. Tighten the bolt (1a) attaching the air dam position actuators (1b) to the proper specification. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
5. Install the engine belly pan. Refer to BELLY PAN, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION  or BELLY PAN, REAR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION  or BELLY PAN, REAR SUSPENSION, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION  or BELLY PAN, SIDE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
6. Install the front fascia. Refer to FASCIA, FRONT, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
