Rear Fascia Side Molding: Removal

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  2. Remove the tire and wheel assembly for the side you are working on. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  3. Remove the retaining screws (1a) and the retaining push pins (2a) and position the wheelhouse splash shield (1b) aside.

  4. From the inside of the rear fascia, remove the retaining screw (1a) and slide the tabs (2a) out of the rear fascia.
  5. Remove the side molding from the rear fascia.
  6. Check for damage to the molding or the fascia.
