Exhaust Pipe Intermediate Heat Shield

REMOVAL 

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .

2. Remove the nuts (1) securing the guard to the body on both sides on the body.

3. Remove the tunnel support fasteners (1) and the tunnel support bracket (2).

4. Remove the corrugated washers (1a) and remove the intermediate heat shield (1b) from both sides of the body.

INSTALLATION 

1. Position the exhaust pipe intermediate heat shield on the body studs.
2. Install and securely tighten the corrugated washers on both sides of the intermediate heat shield.
3. Install and securely tighten the nuts securing the guard to the body on both sides on the body.
4. Install the tunnel support bracket. Install the tunnel support bracket fasteners and tighten them securely.
5. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
