Removal And Installation

REMOVAL 

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .

3. Disconnect the wire harness connector (1) from the backup lamp switch (2).
4. Unscrew the backup lamp switch to remove.

INSTALLATION 

1. Inspect the backup lamp switch and the wire harness connector integrity.
2. Install and securely tighten the backup lamp switch.
3. Connect the wire harness connector to the backup lamp switch.
4. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
5. Connect the negative battery cable.
