Diagnostic Test

CHECK CAN LINE WIRING BETWEEN CLIMATE CONTROL UNIT AND INFOTAINMENT MODULE
1. Check that the CAN connections between the climate control unit and the infotainment module are not faulty. In particular, that there are no open circuit or short circuit problems.
  Are there any faults in the wiring?
  
  Yes
  - Repair the wiring and connections as necessary.
  No
  - Go to Step 2.
CHECK INFOTAINMENT MODULE CONNECTION
1. Disconnect/reconnect the infotainment module connectors and check for the presence of loose pins.
  Is there a loose pin or poor connection present?
  
  Yes
  - Repair or replace the wiring connectors as necessary.
  No
  - Go to Step 3.
CHECK CLIMATE CONTROL UNIT CONNECTION
1. Disconnect/reconnect the air conditioning control unit connectors and check for the presence of loose pins.
  Is there a loose pin or poor connection present?
  
  Yes
  - Repair or replace the wiring connectors as necessary.
  No
  - Go to Step 4.
CHECK INFOTAINMENT MODULE POWER SUPPLY
1. Check that the infotainment module is powered correctly.
  Is the power supply correct?
  
  Yes
  - Go to Step 5.
  No
  - Repair or replace the related wiring or power supply.
CHECK AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL UNIT POWER SUPPLY
1. Check that the power supply for the air conditioning control unit is correct.
  Is the power supply correct?
  
  Yes
  - Go to Step 6.
  No
  - Repair or replace the related wiring or power supply.
CHECK INFOTAINMENT MODULE OPERATION
1. Check that the infotainment module is working properly.
  Is the infotainment module operating correctly?
  
  Yes
  - Go to Step 7.
  No
  - Replace the infotainment module.
CHECK CLIMATE CONTROL SYSTEM CONTROL UNIT OPERATION
1. Check that the climate control unit is working properly.
  Is the climate control unit operating correctly?
  
  Yes
  - End of diagnosis.
  No
  - Replace the climate control system control unit.
