- CHECK CONNECTIONS ON PASSENGER DOOR OPEN SWITCH AND BODY COMPUTER
- Check for loose, damaged or corroded connections on the passenger door open switch or the Body Computer.
Are there any loose or damaged connections?
Yes
- Repair the wiring connections as necessary.
No
- Go to 2.
- Check for loose, damaged or corroded connections on the passenger door open switch or the Body Computer.
- CHECK WIRING BETWEEN PASSENGER DOOR OPEN SWITCH AND BODY COMPUTER
- Check for a short circuit to ground in the wiring between the passenger door open switch and the Body Computer.
Is there a short circuit to ground in the wiring?
Yes
- Repair the wiring and connections as necessary insulation to ground.
No
- Go to 3.
- Check for a short circuit to ground in the wiring between the passenger door open switch and the Body Computer.
- CHECK OPERATION OF PASSENGER DOOR OPEN SWITCH
- Check that the passenger door open switch is working properly.
Passenger door open switch is not working properly
Yes
- End of diagnosis.
No
- Replace the door lock motor.
- Check that the passenger door open switch is working properly.
