Diagnostic Test

CHECK CONNECTIONS ON PASSENGER DOOR OPEN SWITCH AND BODY COMPUTER
1. Check for loose, damaged or corroded connections on the passenger door open switch or the Body Computer.
  Are there any loose or damaged connections?
  
  Yes
  - Repair the wiring connections as necessary.
  No
  - Go to 2.
CHECK WIRING BETWEEN PASSENGER DOOR OPEN SWITCH AND BODY COMPUTER
1. Check the wiring for an open circuit or high resistance between the passenger door open switch and the Body Computer.
  Is there a high resistance or open condition in the wiring?
  
  Yes
  - Repair the open circuit or high resistance in the wiring.
  No
  - Go to 3.
CHECK WIRING BETWEEN PASSENGER DOOR OPEN SWITCH AND BODY COMPUTER
1. Check wiring for a short circuit between the passenger door open switch and the Body Computer.
  Is there a short circuit in the wiring?
  
  Yes
  - Repair the short circuit in the wiring.
  No
  - Go to 4.
CHECK OPERATION OF PASSENGER DOOR OPEN SWITCH
1. Check that the passenger door open switch is working properly.
  Passenger door open switch is not working properly
  
  Yes
  - End of diagnosis.
  No
  - Replace the door lock motor.
