Theory Of Operation

Whenever the user presses a button on the FOBIK, the respective radio frequency signals are detected by the receiver in the RF HUB. Once the signal is detected, the RF HUB sends the request via CAN to the BCM, which will send current to the concerned electrical locks to change their status. The FOBIK also sends out battery condition information when the button is pressed.
