Motor - Rear Door

REMOVAL 

1. If possible, fully raise the window.
2. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
3. Remove the door panel. Refer to PANEL, DOOR TRIM, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION Refer to, PANEL, DOOR TRIM, UPPER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION Refer to, PANEL, DOOR TRIM, REFLECTOR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

4. Disconnect the wiring harness connector (1a) from the window regulator motor (1b).
5. Remove the window regulator motor retaining screws (2a).
6. Remove the window regulator motor (1b) by releasing the splined shaft from the seat of the regulator.
   NOTE:

   With the window regulator motor removed, the window is free to be lowered.

INSTALLATION 

1. Inspect the window regulator motor and wiring integrity.

2. Install the window regulator motor splined shaft (2b) to the window regulator.
3. Install the window regulator motor retaining screws (2b) and securely tighten.
4. Connect the wiring harness connector (3).
5. Connect the negative battery cable.
6. Fully cycle the power window up and down at least one time.
7. Install the door panel. Refer to PANEL, DOOR TRIM, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION Refer to, PANEL, DOOR TRIM, UPPER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION Refer to, PANEL, DOOR TRIM, REFLECTOR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
