Removal And Installation: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
  2. Open the hood.
  3. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  4. Remove the windshield washer reservoir. Refer to RESERVOIR, WINDSHIELD WASHER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  5. Disconnect the wire harness connector for the windshield washer pump.
  6. Release the hose (2a) from the retainers (2b).
  7. Rotate the windshield washer pump (3a) counter-clockwise, then free and disconnect the windshield washer fluid outlet hose (2a).

  8. Remove the windshield washer pump (1a) from the reservoir seat (1b).
