Washer Reservoir: Installation

  1. Check that the windshield washer fluid reservoir is not damaged.
  2. Connect the wiring on the reservoir.
  3. Secure the headlight washer pump outlet hose on the reservoir.
  4. Secure the windshield washer pump outlet hose on the reservoir.
  5. Install the windshield washer fluid level sensor.
  6. Install the headlamp washer pump. Refer to MOTOR, HEADLAMP WASHER PUMP, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  7. Install the windshield washer pump. Refer to PUMP, WINDSHIELD WASHER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  8. Insert the windshield washer fluid reservoir (1a) complete with the hoses and wiring.
  9. Install the windshield washer fluid reservoir screws (2a) securely tighten.
  10. Make sure the sealing gasket on the reservoir is clean and in good condition.
  11. Install the windshield washer fluid inlet hose (3a) on the reservoir,
  12. Connect the windshield washer fluid reservoir wire harness connectors, and secure the reservoir to the support.
  13. Install the headlight washer hose quick coupling.
  14. Install the upper windshield washer jet hose connection to the windshield washer reservoir outlet hose.
  15. Install the rear half of the left front wheelhouse splash shield. Refer to SHIELD, SPLASH, FRONT WHEELHOUSE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  16. Install the front half of the left front wheelhouse splash shield. Refer to SHIELD, SPLASH, FRONT WHEELHOUSE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  17. Install the left front tire and wheel. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  18. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.

  19. Rotate the windshield washer fluid reservoir support (1a) to its position.
  20. Install the upper reservoir fixing screws (2a) and securely tighten.
  21. Fill the windshield washer fluid reservoir.
  22. Close the hood.
  23. Connect the negative battery cable.
  24. Check that the windshield and headlight washers operate correctly.
