Lower Door

REMOVAL 

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.

2. Using a trim stick or suitable tool, lift up the lamp housing from the side area (1a) and remove the lamp assembly (1b) by releasing the retainers (1c and 1d).
3. Disconnect the wiring harness connector (2a) from the lamp assembly.

4. If needed, disengage the side retainers for lamp housing to gain access to and to replace the bulb (1b).

INSTALLATION 

1. Inspect the lamp assembly, the bulb and the wiring harness connector integrity.

2. If the bulb was removed, insert the bulb (1a) and then close the lamp housing until the retainers (1a) are seated.

3. Connect the wiring harness connector (1a) to the lamp assembly.
4. Install the lamp assembly (2a) on the door panel until the retainers (2b and 2c) are seated.
5. Connect the negative battery cable.
