Theory Of Operation

When a Door Lock/Unlock Switch is activated, a hardwired output is sent to the Body Control Module (BCM). When the BCM receives a door lock/unlock request, the BCM activates an integral Door Lock/Unlock Relay and provides voltage to the requested Door Lock/Unlock Motor(s), integral to the Driver and Passenger Door Latches, through the Door Lock Driver circuit or Door Unlock Driver circuit.
