Removal And Installation

REMOVAL 

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the engine covers. Refer to COVER, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

3. Disconnect the OBD vent valve wire harness connector (1).
4. Disengage the OBD vent valve (2) from the mounting bracket.

5. Disconnect the hose (1a) from the OBD vent valve (1b).

INSTALLATION 

1. Connect the hose to the OBD vent valve.
2. Engage the OBD vent valve on the mounting bracket.
3. Connect the OBD vent valve wire harness connector.
4. Install the engine covers. Refer to COVER, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
5. Connect the negative battery cable.
