Diagnostic Test

CHECK FOR SOFTWARE UPDATE 

1. With the scan tool, read Forward Facing Camera Module (FFCM) DTCs and record on the repair order.
2. Check Technical Service Bulletins (TSBs) for applicable FFCM Software Updates, and update the software if necessary.
3. Turn the ignition off for ten seconds, then start the engine.
4. With the scan tool, read FFCM DTCs.

   Did the DTC return?

   Yes 

   • Replace the FFCM in accordance with the Service Information.
   • Perform the FORWARD FACING CAMERA VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .

   No 

   • Perform the FORWARD FACING CAMERA VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
   • Test complete.
