Side Engine Cover

REMOVAL 

1. Remove the top engine cover. Refer to COVER, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

2. Release the retaining clip (1) and fuel pipe.
3. Release the clip and fuel vapor pipe (2).
4. Remove the screws (3a), lift the cover and disengage the lower posts (3d) from the grommets.
5. If required, remove the retaining clips (3c) from the flexible mounts and remove the insulation pad (3b) from the cover.

INSTALLATION 

1. If removed, position the insulation pad in the cover and install the retaining clips on the flexible mounts.
2. Install the side engine cover engaging the lower posts to the grommets and tighten the retaining screws.
3. Install the fuel pipe and secure the retaining clip.
4. Install the fuel vapor pipe and secure the retaining clip.
5. Install the top engine cover. Refer to COVER, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
