Vibration Damper

REMOVAL 

1. Remove the accessory drive belt Refer to BELT, SERPENTINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

2. Install the (special tool #2024700090, Holder, Front Damper MAIR) (1) on the crankshaft damper (2c).
3. Remove the bolt (2a), remove the spacer (2b) and the damper (2c) from the crankshaft.

INSTALLATION 

1. Remove all sealant residues.

2. Install the damper (1a) on the crankshaft and install the (special tool #2024700090, Holder, Front Damper MAIR) (1b).
3. Install the spacer (2a) and tighten the new bolt (2b) to the proper specification Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
4. Install the accessory drive belt. Refer to BELT, SERPENTINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
