Windage Tray

REMOVAL 

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
2. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
3. Remove the oil pan and oil pump pick-up. Refer to PICK-UP, OIL PUMP, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

4. Remove the bolts (1a) and remove the windage tray (1b).

1. Install the windage tray (1a) and nine bolts in the locations shown in illustration. The tenth bolt will be installed with the oil pump pick-up.

2. Tighten the bolts in the sequence shown in illustration to the proper specification Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
3. Install the oil pump pick-up and oil pan. Refer to PICK-UP, OIL PUMP, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
4. If removed, install the oil filter and fill the engine crankcase with the proper oil to the correct level. Refer to CAPACITIES AND RECOMMENDED FLUIDS, SPECIFICATIONS .
5. Connect the negative battery cable.
6. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
