Removal And Installation

REMOVAL 

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable(s). Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
2. Remove the generator. Refer to GENERATOR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

3. Disconnect the electrical connection (1) for the engine oil pressure and temperature sensor.
4. Unscrew and remove the engine oil pressure and temperature sensor (2).

5. Remove the sealant residues from the threaded hole on the engine block.

INSTALLATION

1. Install the engine oil pressure and temperature sensor (1) and tighten it to the proper specification Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
2. Connect the electrical connection (2) to the engine oil pressure and temperature sensor.
3. Install the generator. Refer to GENERATOR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
4. Connect the negative battery cable(s). Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
