Intake Bypass Pipe Connector To Turbocharger

REMOVAL 

1. Remove the top engine cover. Refer to COVER, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

2. Loosen the retaining clamp (1a) and disconnect the bypass pipe (1b) from the intake bypass pipe connector.
3. Remove the air intake pipe to turbocharger. Refer to TUBE, INTAKE AIR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

4. Remove the bolts (1a) and remove the intake bypass pipe connector (1b) from the turbocharger complete with gasket (1c).

INSTALLATION

1. Install the intake bypass pipe connector (1a) to the turbocharger, complete with new seal and tighten the bolts (1b) to the proper specification Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
2. Install the air intake pipe to turbocharger. Refer to TUBE, INTAKE AIR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
3. Install the turbocharger bypass pipe to the intake bypass pipe connector and close the retaining clamp.
4. Install the top engine cover. Refer to COVER, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION COVER, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
