Front Axle Pinion Seal

REMOVAL 

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
2. Remove the front drive shaft. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

3. Remove the front axle pinion seal dust shield (1).

4. Remove the front axle pinion seal (1).

INSTALLATION

1. Using special tool (special tool #2045800090, Installer, Entry Front Differential Oil Seal) (1), install the front axle pinion seal.

2. Install the front axle pinion seal dust shield (1).
3. Install the front drive shaft. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
4. Check the front axle fluid level and fill as needed. Refer to FLUID, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
5. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
