Front Axle Left Hand (LH) Half Shaft Seal

REMOVAL 

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
2. Remove the front axle Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

3. Remove and discard the front axle LH half shaft seal (1).

INSTALLATION

1. Install the NEW  front axle LH half shaft seal using special tools (special tool #2046000090, Installer, Front Differential Oil Seal (LH)) (1), (special tool #C-4171, Driver Handle, Universal) and (special tool #C-4171-4, Extension, Drive Handle).
2. Install the front axle Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
3. Check the front axle fluid level and fill as needed. Refer to FLUID, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
4. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
