Removal And Installation: Removal

NOTE:

Quadrifoglio model shown in illustration base model similar.

NOTE:

Removal and installation process is the same for both sides of the vehicle.

Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

Position a suitable jack (1) underneath the lower control arm.

Remove the shock absorber (1b) to lower control arm mounting bolt (1a).

Remove the three shock absorber to body mounting bolts (1a).

If equipped disconnect the shock absorber solenoid valve wire harness connector (1).

Remove the shock absorber (1) from the vehicle as shown in illustration.
