Removal And Installation: Removal

NOTE:

Quadrofiglio model shown in illustration, base models similar.

  1. Remove the strut assembly. Refer to STRUT, SUSPENSION, ASSEMBLY, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  2. Remove the front wheel splash shield. Refer to SHIELD, SPLASH, FRONT WHEELHOUSE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  3. Remove and DISCARD  the upper control arm (1b) to knuckle (1c) pinch bolt (1a).

  4. Remove the two upper control arm to body mounting bolts (1a).
  5. Remove the upper control arm (1b) from the vehicle.

  6. Inspect the dust boot (1) for any signs of damage.
