Standard Procedure - Seat Belt Anchor Release

Use a 6 mm (1/4") flat-blade screwdriver to turn the seat belt anchor release.

1. Move the front seat as far forward as it will go to access the seat belt anchor from the rear seat.
2. Pull the seat belt anchor (1) toward the interior of the vehicle, away from the B-pillar to access the seat belt anchor tensioner release.
3. Insert a 6 mm (1/4") flat-blade screwdriver into the release slot (2) and turn it counter-clockwise as far as it will go, approximately 1/2 turn.
4. Pull the seat belt anchor latch (1) away from the anchor tensioner cable (3) until completely separated from the anchor tensioner cable.
