Removal And Installation: Removal

  1. Recover the refrigerant from the refrigerant system. Refer to PLUMBING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  2. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  3. Remove the left air cleaner outlet tube. Refer to 2.0L, BODY, AIR CLEANER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION or 2.8L, BODY, AIR CLEANER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  4. Disconnect the A/C pressure transducer wire harness connector (1).
  5. Remove the pressure transducer (2). Remove and discard the O-ring seal.
