Lower Mode Door Actuator: Installation

  1. Connect the actuator wire harness connector (1).
  2. Position the actuator (2a) and engage the coupling (2b).
  3. Install and securely tighten the three actuator to HVAC housing screws (3).
  4. Install the right front floor air outlet. Refer to OUTLET, AIR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  5. Install the glovebox. Refer to GLOVE BOX, INSTRUMENT PANEL, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  6. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
  7. Initiate the Actuator Calibration function using a scan tool. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
