Set Condition

Test One: The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) checks the IAP sensor rationality by comparing the difference between the IAP Sensor signal and the Manifold Air Pressure Sensor signal with the ignition on. The DTC will set if the difference between the two signals is greater than a 3kPa (0.4psi).
The PCM compares the IAP Sensor signal to the Barometric Pressure and the Boost Pressure Sensor signal with the engine running to check for an airflow restriction. The DTC will set if the difference between the IAP Signal and either the BARO or Boost Pressure Sensor signal is greater than a 3kPa (0.4psi).

NOTE:

The Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor is combined with the Inlet Air Pressure (IAP) Sensor, Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor 2 and the Humidity Sensor.
