Removal And Installation: 2.0L

REMOVAL 

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. To gain complete access to the ignition coils, remove the solenoid valve to turbocharger hose. Refer to COOLER AND HOSES, CHARGE AIR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

3. Disconnect the wiring harness connector (1) from the ignition coil.
4. Remove the ignition coil (2b) retaining screw (2a).

INSTALLATION 

1. Inspect the ignition coil and wiring harness connector integrity.

2. Insert the ignition coil (1a) and tighten the retaining screw (1b) to the proper specification.. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
3. Connect the wiring harness connector (2) to the ignition coil.
4. Install the solenoid valve to turbocharger hose. Refer to COOLER AND HOSES, CHARGE AIR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
5. Connect the negative battery cable.
