Removal And Installation

REMOVAL 

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.

2. Detach the wire harness connector (1) for the accelerator pedal.

3. Remove the screw (1a) and remove the accelerator pedal with built-in potentiometer (1b).

INSTALLATION

1. Place the accelerator pedal in its housing, taking care to engage the blocks (1a) with the studs (1b) on the body.

2. Tighten the accelerator pedal retaining screw (1) to the proper specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
3. Connect the accelerator pedal wire harness connector.
4. Connect the negative battery cable.
