Charge Air Water Cooler Water Temperature Sensor

REMOVAL 

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Drain the turbocharger cooling system. Refer to DRAINING AND FILLING THE TURBOCHARGER COOLING SYSTEM  .
3. Remove the top and side engine covers. Refer to COVER, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

4. Disconnect the charge air water coolant temperature sensor wire harness connector (1).

5. Lift the locking clip (1a) and remove the charge air water coolant temperature sensor (1b) complete with O-ring (1c).

INSTALLATION 

1. Install the charge air water coolant temperature sensor complete with O-ring and secure the retaining clip.
2. Connect the charge air water coolant temperature sensor wire harness connector.
3. Install the side and top engine covers. Refer to COVER, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
4. Fill the turbocharger cooling system. Refer to DRAINING AND FILLING THE TURBOCHARGER COOLING SYSTEM  .
5. Connect the negative battery cable.
