Air Box/Heat EXCHANGER Unit Water Input 3-Way Connector

REMOVAL 

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Drain the turbocharger cooling system. Refer to DRAINING AND FILLING THE TURBOCHARGER COOLING SYSTEM  .
3. Remove the intake air tube. Refer to TUBE, INTAKE AIR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

4. Disconnect the charge air water cooler coolant temperature sensor wire harness connector (1).
5. Remove the coolant hose quick connector (2).

6. Remove the clamp and engine coolant hose (1).
7. Remove the three-way fitting bolt (2).

8. Remove clip (1a) and the three-way fitting (1b).

9. Lift the locking clip (1a), and remove the charge air water cooler coolant temperature sensor (1b) complete with O-ring (1c).

INSTALLATION 

1. Install the charge air water cooler coolant temperature sensor complete with O-ring and secure the locking clip.
2. Install the three-way fitting and clamp.
3. Install the three-way fitting bolt and securely tighten.
4. Install the engine coolant hose and clamp.
5. Install the coolant hose quick connector.
6. Connect the charge air water cooler coolant temperature sensor wire harness connector.
7. Install the intake air tube. Refer to TUBE, INTAKE AIR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
8. Fill the turbocharger cooling system. Refer to DRAINING AND FILLING THE TURBOCHARGER COOLING SYSTEM  .
9. Connect the negative battery cable.
