Battery PREFUSE

REMOVAL 

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.

2. Release the retainers (1a) and remove the battery prefuse cover (1b).

3. Remove the nuts (1a) to disconnect the wiring terminal (1b).
4. Position and secure fuse (2a) aside.
5. Loosen the positive battery terminal clamp (4a) by rotating the cam lever (4b) to open position (4c).
6. Remove the nuts (6a) and disconnect the relative electric terminals (6b) from the battery prefuse (5a).
7. Remove the positive battery clamp with supply box (5a).

INSTALLATION 

1. Position the battery prefuse to the battery for installation.

2. Attach the connectors (1a) to the battery prefuse (1b) and tighten the nuts (1c).
3. Install the positive battery clamp in position to the battery prefuse (1b).
4. Tighten the clamp on the positive battery terminal (3a) by turning the cam lever (3b) to closed position (3c).
5. Position the bracket (4a) and tighten the screws (4b).
6. Install the fuse (5a).
7. Install the wiring terminal eyelet end (6a) to and tighten the nut (6b) to the. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
8. Install the battery prefuse cover.
9. Connect the negative battery cable.
