Removal And Installation: Removal
- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Remove tire and wheel assembly. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Remove the rear knuckle. Refer to KNUCKLE, REAR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Remove the rear brake line retaining bracket (1b) to lower control arm mounting bolts (1a).
- Using a suitable tool, hold the stabilizer bar link stud (1a), and remove the stabilizer bar link (1c) mounting nut (1b). DISCARD
the mounting nut (1b).
- Remove and DISCARD the lower control arm (1c) to crossmember mounting bolts (1a, 1b) and remove the lower control arm from the vehicle.
